Saree Blouse Sleeve Lengths: What Works for Bridal, Reception, and Onam Looks

The five lengths and what they do

For a bridal Kanjivaram

The classic bridal pairing in Tamil Nadu and much of Karnataka is the elbow length sleeve, often with a zari or embroidered cuff that echoes the saree border. The arm decides more than fashion does

What to tell the tailor

Be exact. Sleeve length is measured from the shoulder point, and elbow length to one tailor is mid forearm to another. Give the measurement in inches from the shoulder, with the arm slightly bent.
