Out of town guests at an Indian wedding often arrive tired, unsure of the schedule, and worried about small things like water, transport and where breakfast will be served. Two sealed bottles of water are the single most useful thing in the hamper. Add a small packet of dry snacks such as roasted nuts, murukku or biscuits, a fruit if the delivery timing allows, and a small chocolate. Guests arriving late at night rarely order room service. After the wedding, coordinate one family member to check with the hotel that no hampers were missed and no wrong hampers were dropped.
